Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

 

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy is used to treat any condition involving the bones, muscles, ligament, nerves, tendons and joints, in any part of the body!

Many problems that cause pain or affect your mobility can be helped by Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, including

  • Knee pain & Injuries (bursitis, osteoarthritis, tendon & ligament injuries)

  • Hip Pain (bursitis, tendonopathy, OA)

  • Shoulder Injuries (rotator cuff, bursitis, dislocations)

  • Spinal problems (Neck and back pain)

  • Soft Tissue Injuries (muscle strains, ligament sprains)

  • Osteoarthritis and osteoporosis

  • Foot and Ankle Pain (Achilles tendonopathy, plantar fasciitis)

  • Jaw pain (TMJ)

What to expect:

Your first appointment will include a full assessment so we can accurately identify the cause of your problem and work with you to come up with a treatment plan that is safe and effective and gives long lasting results.

​

This may include advice and exercises as well as hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation, stretching, massage, dry needling and exercises to strengthen weak muscles and correct postural problems.
